Founded in 2022 by Akash Auti, the brand is rooted in one clear belief: a home should be as practical as it is beautiful, as soulful as it is stylish.
For Akash, design is deeply personal. It began as a passion, inspired by the vibrant, vintage-tinged work of Sarah Sham, and grew into a profession dedicated to blending modern and contemporary aesthetics with sustainable, thoughtful touches. “Design isn’t just about furniture and finishes—it’s about the feeling you get when you walk into a room,” he says.
From concept creation and 3D modeling to detailed working drawings and seamless execution, Furnish My Nest delivers projects with a precision that has become its hallmark. The promise? On time. Within budget. Perfectly aligned with the client’s vision. Akash’s designs weave in natural materials, light-filled layouts, and intelligent circulation planning—making every space both functional and emotionally resonant.
Spotting a shift in the market, Akash recognized that interiors are no longer a luxury but a necessity. Today, his portfolio extends from private homes to commercial and hospitality spaces, with sustainability playing a growing role in his practice. While he acknowledges the cost challenges of green design, he believes it is the future of interiors.
His entrepreneurial journey—marked by challenges in market positioning, vendor partnerships, and brand building—has reinforced his core lessons: understand your client, estimate with accuracy, execute with discipline.
Akash’s advice to young designers is simple:
“Learn on the ground. Intern. Visit sites. Know your materials. And whatever the space or budget, create something that leaves a mark—something timeless.”
With a turnover of ₹5 crore in just two years, Akash is now setting his sights on larger-scale projects, all while staying true to his mission: to design nests where life unfolds beautifully.
