Amirtha Ravindranath, a dedicated educator and entrepreneur, exemplifies passion and perseverance. Armed with an MA, MPhil in English Literature, and a PG Diploma in Media and Journalism, Amirtha’s journey began in Chennai, where she cultivated a love for learning at renowned institutions. Her career as a lecturer in English started in 1989 and spanned over two decades, culminating in her role as a professor and coordinator in journalism and mass media. Despite a flourishing career, her innate passion for early childhood education beckoned her toward entrepreneurship.
In 2013, she founded Kiddos Paradise Pre-school, Vijayanagar. At 46, she embraced her dream of creating a nurturing environment for children aged 1-6 years, blending the Montessori and Playaway methods. Inspired by Maria Montessori’s philosophy, Amirtha ensures her preschool provides a strong foundation to young learners while addressing the expectations of their parents.
Amirtha’s journey wasn’t without challenges. Entering a competitive market required meticulous planning, in-depth learning, and resilience. Drawing on her experience as an educator and the unwavering support of her family—her daughter, a food scientist, and her son-in-law, an IT professional—she crafted an institution rooted in holistic growth and innovative approaches.
Under her leadership, Kiddos Paradise stands out with its personalized counseling for parents, experienced staff, and a commitment to excellence. Recognized with the Blindwink India Excellence Award 2024 for Bangalore’s Best Premier Fun Learning Preschool, Amirtha is poised to expand her footprint by opening a second branch and offering franchise opportunities to like-minded educators.
