V Manikanta Raju & V Venkateswara Rao – Co-Founders, Velzure Solutions Pvt Ltd

Less often we get to hear of any college principal encouraging his students to jump into entrepreneurship, even though they are in their final year of engineering. However, the story of V Manikanta Raju & V Venkateswara Rao from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad follows something similar. These final year students of EEE & ECE respectively have already ventured into their start-up, after being encouraged and supported by their college principal, Dr A Jaya Laxmi. Apart from their studies, these two individuals had the hunger to stand out from the herd and be recognised as world business leader, which eventually led them to find their own firm at such young age.

At an age of just 21, these engineer duos are all set to conquer the world. They are mostly into developing technologies and solutions that can sustain human life and ecosystems through their firm named Velzure Solutions Pvt Ltd. In a very short span of time, Velzure Solutions have gained name and fame in the field of new product development, implementation support that involves software and hardware designing, development, customization, implementation, maintenance, testing and benchmarking.

On asking what they are currently working on, Manikanta reveals,

“The trick to creating wealth is organising your finances, whether for bill payments or trying to save money. Cashback related applications can enable you to achieve this goal by giving you discounts, or credits which you can use on new payments. We took advantage of this idea to create an “App” based on “Affiliate Marketing”. It works on a simple principle of driving sales to partner retailers like Amazon and Flipkart as a marketing channel. For every sale driven, we get a commission from the retailer, most of which is then passed on to our users as Cashback.”

They are striving to improve people’s life through products and services offered by their firm, and in turn improve economy of the country and create more jobs in the market. Manikanta draws inspiration from his grandparents, who are humble, helpful and hard working. Their simplicity and helping nature are always an encouragement. They always help others as per people/society needs and that solves many problems of society.

Since, these two young lads have just started their entrepreneurial journey, they are yet to face any such hardships. But given their tenacity and zeal to succeed, they would surely overcome all sort of hindrances that might cross their path of success. However, they feel that their passion for work, risk taking ability, confidence, decision making ability and adaptability will help them excel in their path ahead.

In such short span they however are learning things fast. They are aware that one should avoid common pitfalls, pitch ideas more effectively, validate products, develop a solid business model, and set ourself up for success in a field where failure is common. We wish both of the young guns a great success ahead.
