Mirza Rizwan Baig, one of the founders of Design Grid Studio, embarked on his path to success from an early age. As a student at Chirec Public School, he developed a fascination with buildings, their planning, and façade designs. This interest grew as he observed the structures around him, particularly his own school, which was renowned for its exceptional planning.
Baig meticulously analyzed every space and sought to understand the rationale behind its design. He also delved into building elevations and façade treatments, pondering how these structures could be improved. His passion for architecture continued to flourish, leading him to pursue a degree in the field and gain invaluable insights into the subject.
Following his graduation, Baig gained valuable experience working for a company where he was involved in various projects spanning residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. His dream of establishing a firm that worked on diverse project types has now become a reality with the founding of Design Grid Studio alongside his co-founder, Paras Bharti, in 2019. Today, they have successfully undertaken over two dozen projects, including villas, gated communities, apartments, and commercial stores.
Baig firmly believes that providing the right design and comprehensive support throughout the project is a solution in itself. Design Grid Studio’s unique selling proposition lies in their commitment to faithfully replicate the finalized concept.
Anwar Aziz, a source of inspiration and Baig’s former internship mentor, instilled in him the essence of passion and the significance of intricate detailing. Baig learned that no task is too small or too big and that work should always be approached with unwavering energy.
