Sanjeev Duseja, a leading architect based in Dehradun and the founder of Aastha Consultants, is redefining the boundaries of design through his sustainable approach to architecture.
Ar. Duseja’s journey into architecture was shaped by a passion for art and design. This early interest led him to understand how architecture can impact daily life by enhancing functionality while reflecting a sense of culture and identity. “Architecture should resonate with people,” he shares, noting that it’s not just about creating functional spaces but about fostering a connection between the built environment and its inhabitants.
In 1998, Ar. Duseja founded Aastha Consultants with the goal of pursuing his architectural vision. The firm’s mission was clear: to deliver sustainable, innovative designs that meet both the needs of the client and the environment. Over the years, Aastha Consultants has earned a reputation for delivering thoughtful, environmentally-conscious designs that set the standard for quality architecture.
Ar. Duseja believes that sustainability is not just an afterthought but an essential part of the design process. He ensures that his projects include features such as natural lighting, energy-efficient solutions, and eco-friendly materials. “Sustainability is at the core of what we do,” he says, pointing out that the longevity of a building depends not only on its design but also on how it interacts with the surrounding environment.
